Saree Ellis, LPC

Saree Ellis, LPC is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is currently under the supervision of Chad Kays, LPCC-S. She belongs to both the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Saree graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1994 with a BS in Mathematics. Saree taught math before staying home to raise three children and volunteer in various capacities. She has enjoyed leading Bible studies, working for Young Life, substitute teaching, volunteering in the kitchen at Freedom a la Cart, and coaching couples with her husband.

Saree is committed to providing an open and welcoming space to clients as they move towards healing. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are and striving to understand and appreciate their journey and their goals. Saree is interested in working with adults and couples seeking therapy for depression, anxiety, stressful life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, spiritual issues, and women’s issues. She has completed level 1 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy and both SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich training for engaged couples.
Personal Info:
Saree enjoys doing life with her husband of 30 years and cheering on their three grown children. At home, all things are covered in fur as the empty nest has been filled with two large dogs. Saree grew up in Colorado and loves to visit as often as she can. The mountains hold a special magic for her. Saree has a passion for travel and loves to plan trips with her husband. She is excited about this new chapter in her life, pursuing counseling as a way to reach out with care and compassion to others.
