Krista Cassell, Coaching Director – BCBC, BCALC

Krista has served as Coaching Director and board member since 2018. She is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor (BCBC) and Board Certified Christian Life Coach (BCLC) who graduated from Light University with a Masters diploma in Biblical Counseling, specializing in marriage counseling, pre-marriage counseling, parenting issues. She received her Board Certification in both counseling and coaching through the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Krista is dedicated to supporting families dealing with challenging relationship and behavioral issues, a passion that stems from her own personal journey. After years of navigating the misdiagnosis of her child’s neurobiological disorder, Krista developed a deep desire to help other families facing similar difficulties find healing and restoration.

For over 20 years, Krista Cassell and her husband, John, the Executive Director of Cornerstone, have been leading small groups at their church. This hands-on experience has given Krista deep empathy and insight into the relational and spiritual struggles people face. Together, they co-developed and presented a sermon series titled “6 New Testament Principles of Successful Relationships.”

Krista loves spending time with her husband, John, their three wonderfully unique children, and now her new granddaughter. Some of her favorite activities include boating, gardening, and enjoying coffee with friends. When the weather is nice, you’ll likely find her on the boat or in her backyard, garden shovel in hand.
