Melissa Stutz LPC is a licensed professional counselor who graduated with a Master’s degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in Elementary Education. Melissa is currently under the supervision of Tracy Whiteside LPCC-S at CornerStone Family Services.
Melissa strives to provide a positive, caring, affirming environment for her clients. She has had many personal experiences that have deepened her compassion for the challenges others face and finds joy in helping each individual heal, grow and thrive. Melissa partners with her clients to heal and overcome the pain of anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, and other painful life experiences. Melissa treats older adolescents and adults.
Prior to becoming a counselor, Melissa led junior high ministries, women’s Bible studies, was on the board for a local non-profit, and worked within the schools with adolescents. She has been married for 29 years and has raised three children. All of these experiences deepened Melissa’s understanding of and compassion for others.

Personal:
Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 adult children, and dogs. She values time with friends and extended family, volunteering in her community and church, reading, spending time in the sunshine (when Ohio allows for it), traveling, scuba diving and pickleball.
