Lauren Simms LPC is a counselor at CornerStone Family Services. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Ohio State University and received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland University.
Lauren sees clients at the main Bethel Rd. location. Lauren is under the supervision of Seth Evans LPCC-S.

Lauren is passionate about trauma therapy and utilizing her EMDR training to help clients reprocess their trauma and learn new coping skills. She loves working with anxiety and college-age students and recent graduates, as that was also a time in her life that anxiety felt really heavy. She enjoys working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to open the door to deeper self-awareness as well as opportunities for growth. Lauren also loves working with boundaries within all types of relationships.

Lauren loves reading for pleasure as well as deepening her understanding of theology and learning random skills. She is an animal lover, with a spoiled dog and cat. She also loves coffee and being in nature, especially being in nature with coffee. Lauren and her husband really enjoy traveling to national parks and Disney parks!
