Gwen Verhoff, LPC has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University. Gwen is currently under the supervision of Chad Kays, LPCC-S.

Gwen takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to counseling. She strives to create a safe space for healing at a pace that works for each individual client. She believes that seeking counseling is a courageous, self-compassionate choice as we all experience loss and heartache in our lives. She is currently in training for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients recover from traumatic life experiences. Gwen thoroughly enjoys coming alongside clients as they grow, heal, and uncover their life purpose.

Gwen enjoys spending time with her husband and children, preferably traveling or outdoors on a hike, in her garden, or caring for her backyard chickens. She delights in cooking and sharing a meal with others.
